Very nice inn, nice service and great food

We were having brunch at the commandant's. Unfortunately the commandant was sick that day. But he was wonderfully represented by "his wife". The food that was served was plentiful and very tasty, and there was really something for every taste and age. You didn't have to do without anything. It was a successful morning / noon, which one could end at the fortress. We will definitely book again and come back.

Also worth a visit during Corona times. Have been back after 15 years and I think everything is in great shape.

Perfect hiking trail around Kongstein to the fortress full and we were alone around

Great place, well prepared, thanks to these people.

We were at a musical dinner it was very rustic but it was fitting to the theme. Booked through Jochen Schweitzer. Unfortunately, you couldn't specify any special features on the page (e.g. gluten intolerance, vegetarian ...) it was otherwise good, the drinks were included, the waitresses often came by to ask. Toilets and everything was very clean.

Well, for a self-service restaurant, it's okay, but the prices are beyond good and bad boy, you aren't a star restaurant

I absolutely cannot understand the dissatisfied people. Last night the two of us went to the casemates for the Augustus Rex program. It was an absolutely wonderful evening. You don't need to talk about the ambience, it's absolutely unique and a must-see for every history fan. The actor was first class in my opinion, the program was great. The dishes based on the original recipes were really very good. We were absolutely delighted with this evening. We'll do that again. And the price is more than okay for that. I would also pay € 30 more for this evening, you won't forget this experience!

We had lentil soup and potato soup in the restaurant. It tasted authentic and very good. I would come again.

The fortress is very nice to explore ... also for the handicapped and easy to explore with prams ... in these cases, however, you should make the ascent with the small train ... then you can take the elevator up ? ... Interesting for children and adults alike with a great view ?

Wünderschön .. So something I can only recommend .. The feeling is special .. Now in Christmas time even more beautiful. It's like having made a time travel..I'm really excited ...

Nice place to eat

The food does not offend or excite. Servings are quite small, but prices are high. However, there are not many other options on the castle grounds. The service is pleasant, and what is interesting, so mostly Czech. What is definitely worth mentioning is the cutting of a buttercake that is phenomenal. However, they prepare him next door outside, so you better put him there, but coffee with you.

There was a lot to see and informative very high quality

We got married at the fortress Königstein. Exactly in the Friedrichsburg. What in itself is a beautiful patch of earth with a view of the Elbe from the top. But we wanted to offer our guests, with many small and small children still a suitable feature on this fortress .. Thus, we have in the casemates a small celebration for 35 Earthmen designed. Although that is not quite correct. We have embellished. The team of historic restaurants on the fortress Koenigstein has allowed us to spend a really beautiful celebration with family in the midst of history with almost no effort and stress. It was a perfect match. The atmosphere, the candles, the cake, the departed, the wonderful food, the "cellar masters", who have managed to keep the hungry and thirsty hosts behind them. Even the entire prams could be seated. Many thanks to the whole team for this unforgettable day also on behalf of all guests and continued success. Where do we start? The food and the ambience are really nice and it invites you to linger. The between entertainment are really very fun and entertaining, about which one smiles and continues to tell. The service team is very nice and also very helpful in finding solutions to problems. It is also recommended to explore the fortress further and to go to the exhibitions, which are very modern and informative. For small children, it is also well done, because they can costume before the exhibition. You can really recommend it, even for larger groups.
